Danica McKellar's Son Draco Celebrates Milestone 16th Birthday

Danica McKellar celebrated a significant milestone as her son, Draco, turned 16 on September 7. The "The Wonder Years" star marked the occasion on Instagram, sharing a touching tribute that included both recent photographs and cherished throwback images.

The post featured a variety of photos, beginning with the very first picture McKellar took of Draco as a newborn, swaddled in a hospital bed. The carousel also included more recent images showcasing Draco's impressive growth, including a shot where he towers over his mother, both dressed smartly.

Further memories shared included Draco as a young child at a red carpet event and a clip highlighting his notable piano skills. McKellar also posted a picture of a young Draco demonstrating his aptitude for mathematics, writing equations on a chalkboard.

Draco is the only child of Danica McKellar and her ex-husband, composer Mike Verta. The couple welcomed Draco in September 2010, shortly after their marriage in March 2009. McKellar filed for divorce from Verta in June 2012.

Earlier this year, McKellar shared an unexpected anecdote from her birth experience with Draco. On "The BobbyCast" podcast in March, she recounted her doula offering her a taste of her placenta after giving birth. McKellar described the experience as surprisingly delightful, likening the taste to an exceptional cut of steak.
