Dancing with the Stars Judge and Wife Expecting First Child

In a heartwarming announcement, Dancing with the Stars judge Derek Hough, 40, and his wife Hayley Erbert Hough have revealed that they are expecting their first child together. The couple, who tied the knot in August 2023, recently made their pregnancy public with a sweet video on Instagram.

The video shows Hough embracing his wife as she flashes a strip of sonogram photos, with the couple smiling and swaying in the sunlight. "We can't believe the biggest thing to happen to us could be so small ♥️," the couple captioned their joint post.

Since the announcement, Hough and Erbert Hough have been making several red carpet appearances, showcasing the expectant mother's growing baby bump. At the recent Los Angeles premiere of Tron: Ares, Erbert Hough posed on the red carpet in a form-fitting brown sequin dress, proudly displaying her pregnancy.

Hough has expressed his excitement about becoming a first-time dad, telling Jennifer Hudson on her show that he sometimes forgets about the milestone and is reminded of his joy all over again. "Sometimes I like I forget, right? I'm doing things, and I just glance over there and I see her bump, [and] I'm like, 'Whoa.' I'm like, 'I'm gonna be a dad,' " he said, adding that he can't wait to experience the feeling of the baby kicking for the first time.
