She became engaged to Brian Thalman in May 2024 during a surprise proposal in her hometown of Pittsburgh. The couple first met in Pittsburgh in December 2021 and later celebrated their engagement with a themed putt-putt party in August 2024.

Thalman proposed with a 3.25-carat elongated cushion diamond ring from Brilliant Earth. The couple's journey began when they met through a mutual friend and bonded over shared interests. Following a period of long-distance dating, Brooke relocated back to Pittsburgh to be with Brian.
