In 2026, renowned DJ Damian Lazarus is set to expand his iconic Day Zero party to new destinations. The first edition of Day Zero Bali is scheduled to take place on April 17, 2026 on the Indonesian island. This will be the event's first foray outside of its spiritual home in Tulum, Mexico, where it has been held annually since 2012.
Additionally, Day Zero will debut in Brazil on Jan. 3, 2026, with an event in São Miguel dos Milagres, located on the country's northern coast. This will be the first time the festival has been held in the South American nation. Meanwhile, Day Zero will return to Tulum on Jan. 10, 2026, featuring a lineup that includes Mau P, Seth Troxler, Nicola Cruz, and Lazarus himself.
Lazarus explains that the expansion to Bali and Brazil was a deliberate decision, driven by his team's travels and the invitations of established event producers. He says the new locations will allow the Day Zero team to bring their "love and honorable intentions to other special places" and create "other-worldly experiences" for attendees.
