At PAX Unplugged, Darrington announced the upcoming Hope & Fear expansion for Daggerheart. This new content will enrich the game with expanded character creation options, including a Dread domain focused on macabre magic for Warlock and Witch classes.
The expansion introduces two brand-new classes, Brawler and Assassin, each providing players with two unique subclasses. Furthermore, players will discover new transformation cards that offer diverse heritages, such as Shapeshifter, Ghost, Demigod, and Reanimated, alongside fan favorites like Vampire and Werewolf. New communities and ancestries, including Frostborne and elemental-touched peoples, will also be available.
For Daggerheart Game Masters, Hope & Fear offers four distinct campaign suggestions, each with custom mechanics and themes. The expansion also boasts over 130 new adversaries to challenge players. The game is set to launch next year with a $40 standard edition and a $120 deluxe edition.
