However, the film's script faced criticism for its limitations, with some characters like Anurag Kashyap's cop appearing more like unintentional caricatures. Prakash Raj's role also offered little new. While the film attempts to tap into the current trend of stylized action cinema, tighter writing was suggested to enhance the impact of its twists.
