Zach Cregger, acclaimed for his recent horror successes Barbarian and Weapons, is pivoting back to his comedic origins with a new dark comedy titled 'Little One.' This project will serve as the feature directorial debut for Cregger's friend, Alex Kavutskiy, who also penned the script. The film's narrative centers on a sudden shift in a child's behavior, posing a significant threat to an otherwise idyllic family.
Cregger, a founding member of the New York comedy troupe The Whitest Kids U' Know, is reuniting with producer Roy Lee for this venture. Chris McEwen, Amanda Phillips, and Melina Torres are also producing. Hammerstone Studios is providing the financing for 'Little One,' marking a collaboration with Cregger following their previous work on Barbarian.
