Manchester-based indie band Courteeners have been announced as a headline act for the Live at Ludlow Castle concert series in south Shropshire. They are scheduled to perform on Friday, July 16, 2027, joined by The Coral and The Guest List.
The band, who are celebrating 20 years together, will perform music from their latest best-of compilation album, 'God Bless The Band'. This album features tracks from their seven studio albums.
Courteeners are best known for their 2008 debut, 'St. Jude'. Notably, this album achieved a record in 2023 for the longest gap between release and topping the UK charts.
This summer's concert series has already announced McFly, Becky Hill, and Paul Heaton as headliners. Last year, the event attracted 50,000 attendees over two weekends. Tickets for the Courteeners' performance go on sale locally on November 4 and generally on November 6.
