Couple's 'What's for dinner?' videos go viral

A couple in their fifties has achieved viral fame through social media videos centered on the simple question, "What's for dinner?". For the past seven months, Dawn Emmett has been filming her partner, Neil Haycock, as he prepares their evening meals at their home in Great Barr, Birmingham. What started as a lighthearted activity has since garnered millions of views across TikTok, Instagram, and Facebook from a diverse global audience.

Emmett, 58, initially began filming when she saw her partner cooking mussels and chips. After posting the video and seeing it rapidly gain thousands of views, she continued the series. Haycock, 53, has a lifelong passion for cooking, which he finds therapeutic. His culinary creations, such as roast seabass on the barbecue which amassed over three-and-a-half million views, have particularly resonated with viewers, alongside dishes like peri-peri chicken and pork belly.
