Couple Weds Four Times, Then Elopes!
2 Mar
Summary
- Couple marries four times before deciding to elope.
- Supporting characters connect at each wedding ceremony.
- British director Gary Sinyor helms the US-set romantic comedy.

Mattias Inwood and Leah White star as Dan and Liz, a couple whose marital journey is far from ordinary. They exchange vows not once, but four times, including beach, church, and Jewish ceremonies, before deciding an elopement is the best path forward. The supporting cast adds to the romantic chaos, with Holly White as Liz's sister Julia and Joe Dacosta as Dan's best man, who find themselves drawn to each other at every wedding.
The film features Gina Bellman as the mother of the bride, alongside U.S. comedienne Erica Rhodes and Adam Rose. Joe Morrow plays the character Sean. Local Panamanian actors Andrea Perez Meana, Arian Abadi, and Monalisa Arias also make appearances. Financing for the production comes from executive producer Michael Farrell in the UK, where post-production has commenced, with cinematography by Luke Palmer.
This project marks a return to U.S.-set filmmaking for British writer-director Gary Sinyor since the 1999 rom-com 'The Bachelor.' Sinyor, who also served as writer, editor, and producer on 'Perfect Wedding Days,' most recently directed the TV comedy series 'Hapless.' He described the film as a mainstream U.S. comedy, "rude raunchy and sweet," highlighting the chemistry between its lead actors.
