Summary
- George Strait schedules additional concert at Lubbock's Jones AT&T Stadium
- Concerts to feature Texas natives Miranda Lambert and newcomer Hudson Westbrook
- Strait's 2024 performance set a record for largest single-ticketed concert in U.S.

In a highly anticipated move, country music icon George Strait has announced the addition of a second Texas stadium date to his upcoming tour. The new concert will take place on Friday, April 24, 2026, at Lubbock's Jones AT&T Stadium, following the overwhelming demand for Strait's previously scheduled show on Saturday, April 25, 2026.
The original concert will feature fellow Texas natives and three-time Grammy winner Miranda Lambert, as well as rising star Hudson Westbrook. The newly added show on April 24 will see Strait joined by special guests Zach Top and Dylan Gossett.
Tickets for both concerts will go on sale at 10 a.m. CT on Friday, November 21, 2025, through Strait's official website. The Jones AT&T Stadium can accommodate more than 60,000 people, though the exact number of seats available for the concerts remains unclear.
Strait, widely known as the "King of Country Music," has limited his touring schedule in recent years, making these one-off stadium events highly anticipated by his devoted fanbase. In 2024, his performance at A&M's Kyle Field drew a crowd of 110,905, setting a record for one of the largest single-ticketed concerts in U.S. history.
The announcement comes as Strait continues to receive industry accolades, including his upcoming induction into the Texas Songwriters Hall of Fame and his recognition at the 47th Annual Kennedy Center Honors in December, celebrating his lifetime contributions to American culture.
