Female artists are currently making a substantial mark on the country music landscape. As of July 11, 2026, all top five singles on the Hot Country Songs chart featured female artists or collaborations. This trend extends to emerging talent, with women representing approximately 44% of the new solo artists scheduled to release debut albums or EPs between July 1 and December 31, 2026.
These upcoming releases showcase a diverse array of talent. Artists like BELLES, Ava Claire, Mary Kutter, and Lakelin Lemmings are poised to introduce their unique sounds. BELLES, from Omaha, is set to release an album in October featuring Dolly Parton, while Ava Claire's debut EP, 'Honestly,' is in the works. Other notable debuts include The Creekers in September, Colton Dawson and Thomas Edwards this fall, and Erin Kinsey's album 'Suede' on August 7. Jacob Hackworth's EP 'What Took You So Long' arrives in September, and Zach John King's debut album 'I'm What You Get' is expected August 28.
Further expanding the roster of new voices are Kinsley, with her EP 'Learn to Live' this September, and Mary Kutter, whose 10-song introductory album is due this fall. Lakelin Lemmings will release her self-titled debut album on July 24. Cody Lohden and Marfa are also preparing their initial label projects and EPs, respectively, for release this fall. Wyatt McCubbin's album '650,' produced by Dave Cobb, is slated for October, following his Grand Ole Opry debut on May 12. Blake Proehl's debut EP is expected in October, and the duo Ryan and Rory will release their first album this fall, while Landon Smith's debut album arrives in September.
