Ridley admitted that he lacks GCSEs in English and maths, which he believes might be a factor in his job search difficulties. He discovered his aptitude for the show's word and number challenges five years ago and was surprised by his success. Ridley anticipates an invitation to the show's finals, scheduled for April, due to his high scores.
