Beloved Actor Corey Parker Dies at 60 After Cancer Battle

Corey Parker, the actor renowned for his appearances in "Will & Grace" and "Friday the 13th," died on March 5, 2026. He was 60 years old and succumbed to a terminal illness in Memphis, Tennessee. Parker was also recognized for his dedication to coaching aspiring actors.

His family confirmed the news, sparking interest in his personal life. Parker was married twice. His first marriage was to Linda Kerridge, with whom he shared a child and lasted from April 1989 until their divorce in 1992. He later married Angela Parker (née Angela Denise Douglas) on July 8, 1995. The couple remained married for over three decades until his death and also had one child together.

Born Corey Parker Haas on July 8, 1965, in New York City, his parents were actress Rochelle 'Rocky' Natalie Parker and John David Haas. His father died when Corey was young, and his mother, an actress and model, guided his early career, taking him to auditions from age five. He was briefly the stepson of actor Patrick Dempsey, who married his mother in 1987.

Parker's passing followed a difficult fight with advanced-stage 4 metastatic cancer, for which a GoFundMe campaign was established by his students and friends. He reportedly discovered the cancer after hip replacement surgery.
