This year's Comic Relief telethon, broadcasting live on Friday, March 20th, from MediaCityUK in Salford, will feature a star-studded spoof of the popular show 'The Traitors.' Anna Friel is set to portray host Claudia Winkleman in 'The Traitors: The Movie - The Sequel,' following last year's successful comedy instalment.
Celebrities such as Rachel Duffy and Faraaz Noor, who appeared in the original series, will join the parody. Iain Stirling returns to play one of the joint winners, Stephen Libby, alongside other familiar faces like Scott Mills and Alison Steadman. The sketch aims to recreate memorable moments from the show's fourth series.
Beyond the 'Traitors' parody, the evening's entertainment includes a bank heist sketch with Idris Elba, a literal interpretation of 'Amandaland,' and musical performances from Calum Scott and Blessing Offor. Davina McCall will host, joined by a variety of comedians and presenters. The charity, founded in 1985, has raised over £1.6 billion to tackle poverty and social injustice worldwide.
