On May 7, 2026, an exclusive brunch hosted by Netflix chief Ted Sarandos and his wife Nicole Avant in Los Angeles brought together numerous stars from the comedy world. This event was a highlight of the Netflix Is a Joke festival, a biennial celebration of comedy.
Attendees were treated to a rare and "epic" photo opportunity featuring comedy legends Jerry Seinfeld, Eddie Murphy, David Letterman, and Chris Rock. Jessica Seinfeld, who captured the image, humorously noted the comedians' initial "annoyance" at posing, but acknowledged the moment's worth.
The gathering, held at the couple's $15 million estate, buzzed with excitement. Social media platforms were flooded with reactions to the foursome's picture, with many dubbing it the "Mount Rushmore" of comedy.
Further glimpses into the event revealed other notable interactions, including Chris Rock with Kevin Hart and Dave Chappelle, and Jon Stewart alongside John Mulaney. Videos from the event showcased spontaneous greetings, like Adam Sandler warmly welcoming Eddie Murphy, highlighting the vibrant atmosphere.
