In a major career milestone, comedian Nikki Glaser has signed a deal for a Hulu special that will tape at the Fabulous Fox Theatre in her hometown of St. Louis, Missouri this month. The special will be executive produced by Glaser alongside Emmy-winning director Hamish Hamilton, who also collaborated with her on the acclaimed HBO special Someday You'll Die.
Glaser's previous HBO special, Someday You'll Die, which debuted in 2024, set the record for the best premiere night for an HBO comedy special in more than two years and the #1 largest streaming audience for a Comedy Special in HBO Max/Max history. The special earned Glaser nominations for an Emmy, a Grammy, a Golden Globe, a Critics Choice Award, and a WGA Award for Comedy/Variety Special, which she won.
Glaser's rising star power has continued to soar, as she was named Comedian of the Year for 2024 by The New York Times and one of Time's Most Influential People of 2025. She is also set to host the Golden Globes in 2026, after a successful debut as the first solo female host of the ceremony in 2025.
