Back behind the desk, she quickly fell into old habits, struggling with tasks like typing and answering phones, just as she did decades ago. Behar joked that she was never meant to stay long, saying "As far as I was concerned, they were lucky to have me there."
The segment featured surprise cameos from other GMA personalities, including former anchor Joan Lunden, who recalled Behar's tendency to give out inaccurate information to callers. GMA's Chief Meteorologist Ginger Zee also stopped by, asking Behar to type up some notes, only to be met with resistance.
By the end of the day, Behar had had enough of the ringing phones and chaos. As she left, she grabbed a few office supplies, just as she had done when she was fired all those years ago. "It's been a pleasure, goodbye!" Behar said as she headed out, Christmas tree in hand.
