Collin Gosselin's Bombshell Memoir Exposes Kate's Abuse

Collin Gosselin has publicly targeted his mother, Kate Gosselin, with a recent Instagram post. This incident escalates their ongoing family drama as Collin prepares to release his memoir, 'In the Shadow of Eight: Surviving the Reality of My Childhood'. The 22-year-old blurred his mother's face in a shared article headline about her alleged distress over his book.

Collin's estrangement from Kate began after her 2009 divorce from Jon Gosselin. He and his sister Hannah moved with their father, while the other sextuplets stayed with Kate. In September 2024, Collin spoke with The Sun, accusing Kate of abusing him from approximately age eight or nine. He detailed alleged isolation, being forced to sleep in a locked basement room, and experiencing physical abuse.

Further allegations from Collin include Kate placing him in a residential behavioral health facility in 2016 when he was 12. He claims she administered powerful antipsychotics to make him appear mentally unsound and silence him about her alleged abusive behavior. Kate's representatives denied intentional harm, stating her actions were to protect the family from his 'troubled behavior'.

Most recently, on the Strange McKnights podcast, Collin accused Kate Gosselin of infidelity with Steve Neild. He expressed his disappointment, stating that such actions should be publicly known and that he does not condone cheating.
