Boyz II Men Surprise Cody Johnson at Stagecoach

At Stagecoach on Friday, Cody Johnson surprised the audience by performing a cover of Boyz II Men's 1994 hit, "On Bended Knee." The iconic R&B group members Nathan Morris, Wanyá Morris, and Shawn Stockman joined him on stage, delighting the crowd.

This marks another crossover performance for Boyz II Men, who recently appeared at the 20th anniversary concert for Nashville's Listening Room, performing with Brett Young.

Johnson recently revealed his 10th studio album, "Banks Of The Trinity," slated for release on June 26. He described the album as a personal reflection on his childhood memories in Sebastopol, Texas, near the Trinity River.

The singer is currently undertaking his 2026 tour throughout the U.S. and Canada. This tour follows a period of recovery after he canceled his remaining 2025 shows due to a burst eardrum requiring surgery.

Johnson views his touring approach as athletic, aiming to surpass previous tours. He feels a significant wave of success is building for him and his team, and they are focused on staying ahead of it.
