Cocktail 2 Gets 'A' Rating: Kriti Sanon's First Adult Film

The upcoming romantic comedy, Cocktail 2, is slated for release on Friday, June 19, 2026, following in the footsteps of its successful 2012 predecessor. The film has officially been passed by the Central Board of Film Certification (CBFC) with an 'A' certificate. This marks a notable point in the careers of its lead actors.

For Kriti Sanon, this is the first film in her 12-year career to receive an 'A' rating. Rashmika Mandanna, who also starred in the 2023 hit Animal, will have her second Hindi film with an adult rating. Shahid Kapoor, a veteran of adult-rated cinema, will star in his fifth such film, making Cocktail 2 his second consecutive 'A'-rated release.
