The romantic comedy "Cocktail 2" experienced a beneficial surge in its box office performance on its second Friday, attributed to a strategic 'buy one, get one free' offer. This promotion, introduced on June 26, aimed to mitigate the impact of competing films, notably "Welcome To The Jungle." The offer proved effective, helping the film maintain its audience draw and gather an estimated 4.5 crore on its eighth day.

As of its eighth day, "Cocktail 2" has accumulated a net total of 78.81 crore within India. The film's cumulative earnings, including taxes, amount to 92.99 crore gross. With this performance, it is projected to surpass the domestic lifetime collection of "O'Romeo" (83.35 crore) and secure its position as the fourth highest-grossing Bollywood film of all time. Furthermore, it is set to become Shahid Kapoor's fourth highest-grossing film. The movie, reportedly produced with a budget of 110 crore, has recovered 72% of its total investment within its first eight days. To achieve profitability and earn a "success tag," "Cocktail 2" needs to earn an additional 31.19 crore. The second weekend is anticipated to bring the film much closer to its target.
