In a move to expand its Middle East presence, CNN is launching a new multiplatform show, "CNN Creators," from its brand-new facility in Doha's Media City Qatar. The 30-minute weekly program, set to debut on October 23rd, will showcase a team of digital-native content creators, each with their own unique background and perspective.
The "CNN Creators" team in Doha will be led by Andrew Potter, a former senior editorial producer at Vice, and will include a diverse group of journalists and producers, such as Ivana Scatola, Bijan Hosseini, Antoinette Radford, Matias Grez, and Ben Foley. Together, they will explore the conversations that are capturing the zeitgeist, with a focus on topics like AI, technology, art, culture, sports, and social trends.
The purpose-built studio in Doha's Media City Qatar will feature custom workspaces designed to enable dynamic content creation and collaborative, spontaneous work among the team. Alongside the TV show, "CNN Creators" will also be producing content for CNN.com and the network's social platforms.
