Cloud 10 Studios Taps Industry Vets for Christmas Special 'The Greatest Gift'

In the lead-up to the 2025 holiday season, Cloud 10 Studios has bolstered its creative lineup for the upcoming 3D animated Christmas special 'The Greatest Gift: The Wrong Hat'. The studio has brought on industry veterans Joyce Miller and Rob Doherty as executive producers for the 22-minute show, which is set to launch at MIPCOM and MIP Junior later this year.
Headed by U.S. feature production executive Tracey Dispensa, who has worked on major animated films like Shrek and How to Train Your Dragon, Cloud 10 Studios has completed funding for the special. Dispensa is producing, with Gary Trousdale (Beauty and the Beast) directing and Floyd Norman (Mulan) serving as character designer and creative consultant.
The Greatest Gift: The Wrong Hat centers around a Christmas tree whose ornaments come alive to keep the holiday spirit alive. When a small mishap threatens the festive cheer, a new dinosaur ornament named Chris goes on a quest to find his missing hat. In addition to the special, Cloud 10 is also developing a feature film and TV series based on the project, with a licensing and merchandising program in the works.
