Clive Owen is set to star alongside Anya Taylor-Joy in the forthcoming British Netflix drama, "How to Kill Your Family." The series, adapted from Bella Mackie's successful novel, will feature Owen and Taylor-Joy in prominent roles. Taylor-Joy portrays Grace Bernard, the protagonist driven by a desire for revenge against her estranged billionaire father after a perceived betrayal. The production, previously announced two years ago at the Edinburgh Television Festival, faced and settled a copyright lawsuit last year.

Filmmakers are producing the series, with Mackie serving as an executive producer. The casting news emerged during recent discussions at the Edinburgh Television Festival, where Netflix also unveiled other programming. Among these was "Marbles," a multi-generational family comedy series created by Robert Popper and featuring actors such as Robert Webb and Timothy Spall. Filming for "Marbles" is scheduled to commence this fall, promising a humorous look at the challenges of raising children and caring for aging parents.
