Summary
- Photos of Clay Matthews sparked plastic surgery rumors online.
- An X community note suggests the images were AI-generated.
- Matthews appeared on recent podcasts looking like himself.
Former NFL linebacker Clay Matthews is currently facing speculation about plastic surgery due to newly surfaced photographs. These images, which depicted Matthews with a noticeably altered facial structure, quickly generated buzz across social media platforms.
However, the authenticity of these photographs is heavily disputed. An X community note explicitly states that the images are AI-generated and do not reflect any actual cosmetic procedures undertaken by Matthews. The original post also included an "#ad" tag, raising questions about its promotional intent and the origin of the images.
Further casting doubt on the plastic surgery claims, Matthews has recently appeared on podcasts, including "The Ryen Russillo Show" and "Bussin' With The Boys" on September 3rd, appearing consistent with his usual look. These recent public appearances contradict the dramatic changes suggested by the circulated photos, leaving the plastic surgery rumors unconfirmed. Matthews is also set to rejoin the NFL spotlight via Netflix, joining the broadcast team for the league's first game in Australia.
