Clay Matthews' Unrecognizable New Look Sparks AI Rumors
4 Sep
Summary
- Former linebacker Clay Matthews' appearance dramatically changed.
- Photos suggested plastic surgery, but '#ad' points to AI.
- Matthews recently appeared normal, disputing rapid transformation.
Recent viral photos of former NFL linebacker Clay Matthews have led to widespread speculation about his appearance, with many finding him almost unrecognizable. The former athlete was photographed while reportedly grocery shopping, potentially in Los Angeles, and the drastic difference from his previous look prompted questions about plastic surgery.
However, a closer inspection of the social media post revealed an '#ad' hashtag accompanying the images. This suggests the photos were likely AI-generated, especially since Matthews recently appeared on a podcast looking like his normal self. The speed required for such a significant transformation in mere hours makes an actual surgical change highly unlikely.
Adding to the skepticism, a community note on X stated that the post used AI-generated images falsely depicting Matthews after cosmetic work. The note asserted that no credible sources reported any such change, reinforcing the belief that the altered images were a fabrication rather than reality.
