The former 'American Idol' runner-up debuted his single 'Rewind' during the 'American Idol' Season 24 finale. This marks his first release since 2008, signaling a full return to the recording studio.

The new single 'Rewind' is the lead track from an upcoming studio album, which is slated for release on September 25, 2026. This project represents his first album of entirely new material in nearly two decades.

Following the album's release, Aiken will embark on the 'Rewind 2027' tour. This tour will give fans the opportunity to experience his new songs live on stage. Dates include a performance at The Newton Theatre in New Jersey on February 28, 2027.
