Jeremy Clarkson's popular Cotswolds pub, The Farmer's Dog, is utilizing an industrial kitchen unit located 10 miles away in Eynsham to prepare some of its dishes. This decision stems from the overwhelming demand since Clarkson acquired the establishment, leading to a need for expanded food preparation facilities.

The pub, which has attracted celebrity guests and positive reviews, prides itself on a 'field-to-plate' philosophy, emphasizing ingredients sourced directly from British farms. While the main kitchen at the pub is small, the off-site unit allows for basic food preparation, including baked goods and potentially meats and vegetables.

Clarkson stated that enlarging the pub's existing kitchen would require extensive planning permission. He also noted that many successful establishments use similar prep-kitchen arrangements. The pub's operations have been challenging, with previous issues including power cuts and staff departures, but it continues to focus on its commitment to exclusively British produce.
