Citadel Season 2 Release Date & Details Revealed

Citadel is set to make its highly anticipated return to Amazon Prime Video with a second season premiering on May 6, 2026. This marks a significant comeback for the spy thriller, which last captivated audiences nearly three years ago.

The upcoming season promises an expanded narrative with seven episodes, a slight increase from the first season's six. This offers fans more of the gripping spy drama they have come to expect from the series starring Richard Madden and Priyanka Chopra.

Prior to the second season's release, viewers were treated to a prequel series titled Citadel: Honey Bunny. This prequel, which aired in 2024, delved into the past of key characters, further enriching the Citadel universe.

While the first season utilized a weekly release schedule, the entire second season will be available for binge-watching on May 6, 2026. This drop date is expected to provide a full season experience for dedicated viewers.
