CINTAA President Poonam Dhillon has formally addressed allegations of impropriety regarding the organization's fixed deposits, which are reportedly valued at Rs 90 lakhs. Dhillon stated that all financial expenses are thoroughly accounted for and that financial records are openly accessible to all executive committee members, ensuring complete transparency. She countered claims of personal gain, affirming that neither she nor other members have taken any funds from the CINTAA account.
Further elaborating on management concerns, Dhillon clarified that decisions and constitutional amendments are made during the Annual General Meeting (AGM) and follow legal processes. She specifically recalled Upasana Singh, a former secretary, announcing a decision during the 2025 AGM. Meanwhile, previous statements from Upasana Singh and Nagma raised concerns about frozen fixed deposits being accessed, questioning the opening of new accounts and the use of funds to pay salaries while awaiting a court hearing scheduled for October 26.
Padmini Kolhapure, also named in the allegations, has not yet released a statement. Both Kolhapure and Dhillon recently won their elections to the CINTAA executive committee, with Kolhapure receiving 604 votes and Dhillon securing 601.
