Chuquimamani-Condori recently unveiled a collection of unreleased original music on Nashville's public radio station WNXP. The artist performed reimagined tracks from renowned musicians such as Bob Seger and Jason Aldean, alongside new interpretations of Vince Gill's work.
Listeners were also treated to renditions of songs by various Andean folk artists. During the broadcast, the artist announced an upcoming project by Los Thuthanaka, titled 'Waq'a.' This new work is described as a musical interpretation of the Aymara story concerning the sun.
'Waq'a' is scheduled for release on April 3, exclusively on Bandcamp. The release will include three instrumental tracks, exploring themes before and after the sun's creation. An accompanying booklet, initially published only in Aymara, was co-curated with Shana Inofuentes and Eber Miranda.
