Christmas Thriller: Stars Align for Audible's New Mystery

Matthew Rhys and Ruth Wilson are set to star in Lisa Jewell's Audible Original, "All She Wants for Christmas," launching on November 2. The production promises a chilling narrative centered on obsession, ambition, and the ambiguous boundary between reality and fiction. Rhys portrays Fiddy, whose marriage to bestselling author Louise, played by Wilson, is strained by her success. Fiddy finds solace in Kate, a younger colleague who becomes aware of the couple's vulnerabilities.

The plot thickens as Louise falls mysteriously ill, coinciding with the arrival of a disturbing manuscript at her publisher's. The story explores themes of marital discord, unspoken resentments, and manipulation, all set against a festive backdrop that hides darker intentions. The audiobook features an ensemble cast including Phoebe Dynevor and Harriet Walter, with narration designed to immerse listeners in the suspenseful atmosphere.

"All She Wants for Christmas" will be released simultaneously in French, Spanish, Italian, and German, featuring local narrators. This marks Lisa Jewell's first Audible Original, adding to her acclaimed catalog of psychological thrillers such as "Then She Was Gone" and "The Family Upstairs."
