Perri Unearths Epic 'Jar of Hearts' Version

Sixteen years after its initial release, Christina Perri has shared a previously unheard "epic version" of her signature song, "Jar of Hearts." Perri described this rendition as one she "always wanted to release" but had not found the opportune moment for. The song first gained widespread attention after being featured on the television show So You Think You Can Dance, ultimately reaching the top 20 on the Billboard Hot 100.

This newly revealed version arrives as Perri celebrates the 15th anniversary of her debut album, "lovestrong." To commemorate this milestone, she has launched a YouTube series titled "lovestrong. 15," where she revisits the album's tracks acoustically. Half of this series has been released, with the remaining episodes scheduled for July. Additionally, a deluxe edition of "lovestrong" is now available on digital platforms, featuring 17 songs, including a duet with Jason Mraz titled "distance."
