Mad Men Star's Secret Life: DJ Christina Takes the Stage

Actress Christina Hendricks, known for her roles in "Mad Men" and "Good Girls," is actively pursuing a long-held passion for DJing. Her performances have garnered significant attention, with a recent four-hour set at Sid's Bar in South Pasadena drawing a large and appreciative audience. This event marked her first gig in Los Angeles County and featured a diverse playlist spanning various genres.

Hendricks first explored DJing publicly at San Diego's Part Time Lover venue. Since then, she has been actively developing her skills and comfort with the craft. Her involvement in music extends beyond live sets, as she is also scheduled to be a guest DJ on KCRW throughout November, dedicating an hour each week to curated music selections.

Recently completing two acting projects, Hendricks is dedicating more time to her DJing endeavors. She views DJing as a unique way to connect with audiences and tell stories, similar to her acting work but with a more direct and interactive approach. Invitations to DJ at Hollywood parties are also anticipated, with Hendricks eager to accept these opportunities.
