Summary
- Chrishell Stause to leave Selling Sunset after season 9
- Reunion episode was "brutal", leading to her exit decision
- Stause says show is no longer good for her mental health

In a November 2025 interview, Chrishell Stause, the star of the Netflix reality series Selling Sunset, has announced that she will not be returning to the show if it is renewed for a 10th season. Stause, who has been a part of the show since its inception, revealed that the "brutal" season 9 reunion was the deciding factor in her decision to leave.
Stause, who has faced ongoing conflicts with her co-stars Nicole Young and Emma Hernan, admitted that the reunion episode was the final straw. "The reunion was so brutal," she said. "In that moment, I realized I will be done here going forward. It felt a little bit like a dog pile." Despite the show's success and the opportunities it has provided, Stause has decided that it is no longer good for her mental health.
While Selling Sunset creator Adam DiVello has been trying to convince Stause to stay, the reality star is firm in her decision. "I've gotten to a place where I don't need the show financially. I'm lucky to have other forms of employment," she said. Stause is now focusing on starting a family with her partner, G Flip, and exploring new career opportunities, including a potential hosting role on the Netflix series The Ultimatum: Queer Love.
