Chris Stapleton performed a concert at Paycor Stadium in Cincinnati on August 1st, following a significant delay due to stormy weather. Opener Lainey Wilson demonstrated considerable star power, even singing a duet with a child in the audience and gifting her hat. She performed earlier than scheduled to avoid the storms.

During the delay, Stapleton revealed he wrote a new song specifically for Cincinnati while backstage with his sons, subsequently performing it for the crowd. He also acknowledged the presence of Cincinnati Reds legend Johnny Bench, whom he admired as a child, and dedicated a song to him.
