Chris Rock Crashes Daughter's Interview, Praises Her Acting

Chris Rock made a surprise appearance at the Toronto International Film Festival on September 12, 2026. He interrupted his daughter Zahra's red carpet interview to express his pride in her burgeoning acting career.

Zahra, who recently had her acting debut in the 2026 comedy 'Roommates', spoke about her experience working with her father on his upcoming film, 'Misty Green.' She admitted to initial worries about collaborating with her dad but ultimately found the experience to be fantastic and the set to be great.

Rock, who wrote and directed 'Misty Green,' shared his positive experience working alongside his daughter. He highlighted that he saw her purely as an actress on set, only realizing it was his daughter later. The film 'Misty Green' is slated for release on October 9, 2026.
