Actor Chris Pratt has openly discussed his aspirations for reprising his role as Star-Lord within the Marvel Cinematic Universe. Pratt revealed he has a unique and "f king great" vision for the character's future narrative and has indeed presented this concept to Marvel Studios executives, including Kevin Feige. His character, Peter Quill/Star-Lord, was last seen in 'Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3,' a film that concluded with a promise of his return.
In a separate revelation, Pratt detailed his past interest in portraying Batman in James Gunn's upcoming DC film, 'The Brave and the Bold.' Pratt, who has a close working relationship with Gunn, even sent the director photoshopped images of himself as Batman. However, Gunn's amused reaction suggests Pratt is unlikely to don the cowl for the DC Universe. Pratt recently appeared in the science-fiction film 'Mercy,' released on January 23, 2026, and was also featured in 'The Electric State.'
