Chris Pine Neighbor Demands Settlement Enforcement

Chris Pine's neighbor, Helen Yu, has filed a court request demanding the immediate enforcement of a settlement agreement reached in their property dispute. Yu, an entertainment lawyer, initially sued Pine and his trust for issues stemming from invasive Ficus Benjamina trees planted by the actor, alleging damage to her property. Pine countered, claiming Yu's fence encroached on his land.

The neighbors settled the case shortly before it was due to go to trial. The agreement stipulated monetary payments, removal of the disputed trees, and resolution of the fence issue. Yu states that while payments were made and trees removed, Pine's trustee, Bradley Lyon, has failed to provide a crucial final signature for months.

Yu's legal team argues this delay is significantly impacting her ability to undertake necessary home construction, as she cannot obtain a permit without the finalized paperwork. They accuse Lyon of a pattern of delay and stonewalling, demanding the court enforce the settlement immediately and award attorney fees.
