The highly anticipated sixth season of "The Chosen" is set to explore the final 24 hours of Jesus Christ's life, with creator Dallas Jenkins describing it as the most intense and extensive season to date. The season's overarching theme will be surrender, examining Jesus' acceptance of immense pain and the disciples' confusion and struggle to understand. This season, comprising six episodes plus a finale, will be released weekly on Prime Video beginning November 15, with a global theatrical release of the finale planned for spring 2027. For the first time, all episodes will be available in dozens of languages simultaneously upon release, a significant undertaking that has extended filming and production timelines.
