Anna Chlumsky and Leslie Bibb are leading "Top of the Rock," a new six-part Cold War crime drama. The series is set in 1983, a period of heightened Cold War tensions, and takes place at the NATO base in Keflavík, Iceland.
The plot centers on U.S. military police investigator Captain Diane Goodman and MP Sarah Ellis. They are tasked with investigating the suspicious death of an American soldier outside the base. Their investigation quickly uncovers a complex network of espionage, betrayal, and political deceit.
Forced to collaborate with Icelandic police, Goodman and Ellis must navigate dangerous secrets. The series explores the dangerous line between duty and diplomacy as they work to prevent further loss of life amidst escalating paranoia.
Created by Davíð Óskar Ólafsson and Jón Atli Jónasson, the drama is directed by Ólafsson. Truenorth, Iceland's leading production company, is behind the series along with Mystery Productions and Vertu. Casting direction by Alexa L.
