China emerged as a dominant force at the recent Asian Academy Creative Awards, clinching the coveted best feature film award for "MuMu" and the best drama series award for "Strange Tales of Tang Dynasty: To The West." The latter's victory was particularly nail-biting, narrowly surpassing a strong South Korean contender.
The ceremony in Singapore marked a significant milestone with nine-year-old Ivory Chia becoming the youngest recipient in AACA history, earning best actress in a supporting role. Netflix also had a triumphant evening, with "The Queen of Villains" securing best actress for Yuriyan Retriever and best direction (fiction) for Kazuya Shiraishi.
