Chernin Entertainment, under movies chief David Ready, has strengthened its film division with new executive hires. Her background includes work on acclaimed literary adaptations and award-winning films.
Further bolstering the team are Brady Fujikawa, who has been elevated to EVP, and Samantha Nisenboim, appointed as senior vice president of film. Max Gains has also been named creative executive. These additions aim to support the scaling of Chernin's film slate.
This expansion coincides with Chernin Entertainment's recent multi-year, first-look feature film agreement with Apple Studios. The company is also part of the anticipated acquisition of its parent, The North Road Company, by Mediawan, which will create a global content entity.
