Actor Chazz Palminteri recently appeared on 'The Craig Carton Show,' where he offered his opinions on baseball and football. Palminteri recounted a negative personal experience with current Boston Red Sox pitcher Sonny Gray, dating back to Gray's tenure with the Yankees. Palminteri asserted that Gray tends to 'choke' in high-pressure situations, particularly in the Bronx.
Transitioning to football, Palminteri expressed enthusiastic support for the Giants' controversial signing of quarterback J.J. McCarthy. He argued that early career difficulties do not define a player's ultimate success, drawing parallels to other quarterbacks who overcame initial struggles. Palminteri believes McCarthy possesses a strong arm and a winning mentality.
Furthermore, Palminteri reflected on his experience making the film 'A Bronx Tale.' He described the surreal moment he realized he would collaborate with Robert De Niro, who directed the film based on Palminteri's one-man stage show. Palminteri considers De Niro to be among the greatest actors of all time.
