Dick and Angel Strawbridge, stars of Escape To The Chateau, recently posted a rare family photograph on Instagram, capturing a sunny spring evening with their children, Arthur and Dorothy, and Angel's parents. This comes four years after they stepped away from their popular Channel 4 show. The couple is now preparing for a television comeback, having previously announced they were filming series 10.
Their show, which aired over nine seasons, was dramatically axed in 2022 following allegations of behind-the-scenes disputes. Channel 4 stated they would not work with the pair on new productions after a review found them to be 'spiky and volatile.' Angel Strawbridge has since addressed a leaked recording of her using expletives, defending her actions as a reaction to disrespectful behavior.
Despite the past controversies, fans have expressed excitement for the couple's return. The new series is expected to shift its focus from renovations to the Strawbridge family's parenting journey. The couple stated that they promised to invite cameras back when the time was right for their family, and that time has now come for this next chapter.
