NBA legend Charles Barkley has shared that he turned down an invitation to the wedding of pop superstar Taylor Swift and NFL player Travis Kelce. Barkley explained his decision on a recent podcast, stating that he generally avoids attending weddings and funerals. He humorously added that he declined because he anticipated the event might be a 'crap show.'

Barkley clarified his feelings, expressing fondness for the Kelce brothers and noting he had met Swift once. However, his personal priorities, including playing golf and avoiding the need to dress up, took precedence over the Friday festivities. He appreciated the gesture, calling the invitation 'pretty special.'

Barkley is not alone in skipping the event, as other celebrities were also invited but did not attend. Among those reportedly invited and absent are James Taylor, Ryan Seacrest, Robert Pattinson, and Mark Hamill. Pattinson's partner, Suki Waterhouse, was in attendance.
