Chappell Roan, the 28-year-old Grammy winner, has been appointed the new global ambassador for MAC Cosmetics' Viva Glam campaign. Her collaboration features a distinct lip collection, including a lipstick named 'UnNatural Red Head' inspired by her hair, alongside plum-toned glosses. This partnership, effective since December 2025, aligns with Viva Glam's mission, which has consistently supported charitable causes since its 1994 inception.
Roan expressed her honor in joining the initiative, highlighting that Viva Glam transcends makeup by advocating for community support and tangible change. The collection's launch coincides with Pride Month, a detail Roan finds serendipitous. Her personal journey with MAC began with aspirations of a fantastical starlet persona, a dream now realized.
One hundred percent of the proceeds from the Viva Glam collection directly benefit charities worldwide, focusing on gender, sexual, racial, and environmental equality. In the U.S., these funds will support LGBTQ+ communities from New York to Los Angeles, including Missouri, Roan's home state. MAC Viva Glam has historically raised over $545 million, aiding more than 60 million people across 92 countries. In celebration of Roan's ambassadorship, MAC Viva Glam is also making a $300,000 donation to Roan's Midwest Princess Project foundation.
