Summary
- Channing Tatum refutes claims he roomed with Vanderpump Rules alum
- Tatum says he lived with models when starting his career, but doesn't recall Taylor being one
- Taylor previously claimed the two were roommates when Tatum first moved to NYC

In October 2025, Channing Tatum refuted claims made by Vanderpump Rules alum Jax Taylor that the two were roommates when Tatum first moved to New York City. During an interview on SiriusXM's Andy Cohen Live, the 45-year-old Tatum firmly stated, "Absolutely not. I don't think I ever roommated with him."
Tatum did acknowledge that when his acting career was taking off, he lived with several models in a "model house" with bunk beds and shared bathrooms. However, he does not recall Taylor being one of his roommates at that time. Tatum also shared a story about getting kicked out of his first model house after getting into a fight with one of the other residents.
Taylor had previously made the claim about rooming with Tatum back in 2013 when he appeared on Watch What Happens Live with Andy Cohen. The reality star reiterated the story in a 2023 interview with Rolling Stone, recalling how he moved from Miami to New York in 2002 to pursue modeling and was placed in one of the agency's shared apartments with Tatum and several other aspiring models.
As of October 2025, Taylor has not responded to Tatum's recollection of the events. The Blink Twice star's denial of the roommate situation provides a contrasting account of their early days in New York City.
