Directed by Bikas Ranjan Mishra, 'Bayaan' stars Huma Qureshi as a rookie police officer in Rajasthan. She investigates a powerful cult leader, referred to as a 'Maharaj,' who has allegedly victimized numerous girls within his ashram. The narrative centers on her struggle to gather testimonies to bring him to justice.
The film screened at the 50th Toronto International Film Festival (TIFF) in September 2025 and is anticipated for a cinema release in 2026. Huma Qureshi also serves as an executive producer for the project.
